Hi there, I’m Bethany
and I’m glad you’re here.
I’m a counsellor and psychotherapist by name, but mostly I’m just a human-person, working to help others foster self-love and figure out how to live life in a way that is meaningful and brings joy.
We do this through coming together to talk, think and feel about things that are on your mind or even keeping you up at night.
And if that feels hard or beyond belief at this time, I really do get it, but we were never supposed to be human by ourselves.
I believe that if anything feels difficult, it's because it truly is. I also believe that in time and with support, it's possible to feel more ok about the hard bits and recover more easily when emotional wounds are influencing our wellbeing.
Self-compassion is the catalyst for change
from healing to thriving and everything in between
We can all fall victim to society telling us how it’s best to be, but I think it’s important to peek beneath the shoulds and should nots, to uncover what’s lying hidden or hurting within. Everyone deserves to feel ok on the inside and also be regarded as ok on the outside, however they look, sound or act.
I work with adults and my clients often feel lost, lonely, different, anxious, sad, worthless, depressed, angry, confused or simply downright tired of the daily grind. They are mostly carers of others - sometimes with neurodivergent dependents - and almost always find themselves at the bottom of the list of life's priorities.
Everyday
life support
Whether you’re having a wobble or worse, I want you to have emotional support to become mentally flexible and grow your self-awareness to maintain your mental health.
